For those who don’t live in New York City, then you probably haven’t had the chance to catch Mad Ciphas one of the best and longest running public access shows currently on the infamous MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network), home to other NYC hit underground shows such as Rapping with the Rickster and the Robin Bryd Show.  Mad Ciphas is truly a cut above the rest and they deserve their dues.  With 200+ public access episodes under their belt and counting, they are continuing to feed your fat faces with their pioneering mix tape television format with the release of their first official DVD, Best of Mad Ciphas 2000-2004.  Now you can hear some of the street’s most talented, underground and up-and-comming MC’s in their rawest form.  Rappers such as Jae Millz, J.R. Writer, Immortal Technique, J-Hood, and many more made appearances on Mad Ciphas, before they were signed, when they were just trying to put their name out there.  Check out audio/video clips on the  website at madciphas.com, and for more information on the DVD.
