DEVELOP[MENTAL]1

Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006

DevelopmentalIf you love hearing hungry MCs and producers who are as raw as it gets, than DEVELOP[MENTAL]1 is a must buy.  The album features MCs Bavu Blakes, Lunar Heights, and Spank Pops, who lace each beautiful melodic beat with intricate flows and illustrating lines.  The album starts off with, one of my favorite tracks, Da Music, which features the infectious sound of the sax that hits the listener deep. The CD’s head bobbing music doesn’t end there; each song is worth a full listen and this CD is a must buy.  Check the website here for more information.

AC/DC and the Elephant

Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006

Dumbo_1January 4Th, 1903, Coney Island - Thomas Edison, showing the dangers of alternate current as compared to direct current, tapes the execution of an elephant.  Edison had the elephant electrocuted using alternate current.  The killing of the elephant was allowed, because it was deemed dangerous when it killed three people in three years.  Life was so much more fun without PETA being such a wet blanket.  To check out the video click here.

Scientology vs. South Park

Monday, March 20th, 2006

Move_southparkScientology vs. South Park is being taken up a notch.  Many know that Isaac Hayes, who played Chef on South Park, has left the show due to the Scientology/trapped in the closet episode.  Now, Tom Cruise, whose movie Mission Impossible 3 comes out this summer, has threatened not to promote MI3, this summer’s golden pony for Paramount, if South Park re-airs the Scientology/trapped in the closet episode.  You are probably scratching your head asking your self, "How does Tom Cruise have so much power?"  Well, Paramount is owned by Viacom and Viacom owns Comedy Central.  Tom Cruise, naturally, has denied taking any such action.  Obviously his denial is bullshit.  Why Tom why, and why does the last Samurai have to be White?  Scientology is as bogus as believing Katie Holmes’ baby is actually yours.  Oh yeah by the way, Goose’s death was Maverick’s fault, and "Far and Away" sucked.
