Bottles Up
Hip Hop fans have been begging for someone to put NYC back on the map, but with the oversaturation of the culture, it’s been hard to pinpoint the man for the job. Names such as Papoose, Maino, and of course the Dipset camp have been repping hard trying to stake a claim. However, theres another name to consider, Bronx born MC Mickey Factz aka Jack Danielz. Exposed to the gift of gab at a young age when his dad first taught him how to rap, Mickey has an unique flow and has been steady grinding in New York to make his name heard. With two mixtapes on the streets right now - Bottles Up & King of the Bronx (with fellow New Yorker J’von Bishop), Mickey Factz lyrical abilities are undeniable. With a flare for performance that values showmanship and raw skills, instead of the thugged out posturing that has become all to common, Mickey Factz proves that he is a force to be reckoned with on the mic. We’ve posted three tracks from his mixtape Bottles Up which can be heard on Radio151 (click the link on the homepage), so take a listen for yourself. You can also peep his MySpace page for more info on the artist - Mickey Factz
