The Run Up is a 2 disc DVD collection that aims to document 26 artists in their respective environments. Each vignette, approximately 10 minutes long, offers an intimate look at some of the best contemporary fine, graffiti and street artists, as well as designers and photographers. While directors Shaun Roberts and Joey Garfield successfully capture process and product, they spend ample time interviewing each creative genius, delving into their inspirations, philosophies and visions. Featured artists include famed Los Angeles photographer Estevan Oriol, cut out queen Swoon, tattoo legend Mr. Cartoon, graf king Futura and Barnstormer David Ellis, as well as Doze Green, WK Interact, Herbert Baglione, Cody Hudson, Chris Pastras, Mark Bodé, Mr. Jago & Will Barras, Wes Humpston, Jeff Soto, Above, Kofie One, Heavyweight, Ryan McGinness, José Parlá, Rostarr, Dzine, Maya Hayuk, Jason Bass, Ron English and Logan Hicks.
