DJ Q-Bert. He’s the golden child of Hip-Hop DJing. Dude set up a palace in Hawaii for all his worldwide DJ minions to come and get their skills up at. He’s the turntablist missionary. However, for those of you who thought of this Bay Area legend as just a scratch DJ, behold breaktionary, a dagger into the heart of that notion. These are the nastiest, rawest, most freak-tastic drums of all time, sewn together in a way only the crown prince of breaks could. Now, here at Frank151, we get tons of cds in the mail, that FRANKly, aren’t really worth printing anything about. Not looking to wait around for a free-bee, Frank151 purchased this cd. That’s right, Frank Green threw down his 15 bucks for this lovely gem of a set. Just the cover alone warrants a purchase (shout to Damon Soule). Once purchased though, the listener will discover countless classic and rare break-beats, spread out on a platter for consumption. If you’re looking for drums, this is about the most you’re going to get in any one place. If you’re looking for a peek into one of the most heralded djs of all times’ collection, you will find it here. If you’re looking for a CD produced/compiled by Q-Bert aka “Spinternal Organs”, you will find it here. If you’re looking for fluff, look elsewhere. This one’s for the break heads. If you’re want this, or any of the classic Dirt Style records (the most legendary of all scratch/break records), you can find them all, digitally, for sale on Q-Bert’s on-line store, here. Million Dollar BathtubA glittering bathtub made of gold, and worth $987,000, was stolen from a resort hotel in Tokyo. Good job to whoever stole this bathtub. It’s like that old expression says - ”if you waste your money on a million dollar bathtub, then you deserve to get robbed - jerko.” - Yahoo News -
