Who the F is Ron Paul?

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

Republican, Democrat - they’re all a bunch of criminals if you ask us. But in the interest of keeping you the reader informed, you should educate yourself on Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. This guy is generating a lot of buzz, and that’s the only reason why we are posting about him. Not because we are endorsing some candidate. You can read up on him here

And just for the record, Eric B for President…

Gravity Waves

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

“A gravity wave is a vertical wave. The best example I can think of in describing what a gravity wave looks like is to think of a rock being thrown into a pond. Ripples or circles migrate from the point the rock hits the water. An up and down motion is created. With increasing distance from the point where the rock hit the water, the waves becomes less defined (the waves are dampening)”

Split Set?

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

We here at Frank151 enjoy the finer things in life. That includes guilty pleasures - such as being fans of Dip Set. That’s why we felt it was important to report on the following breaking news — according to Hip Hop gossip columnist Miss Info, Cam’ron is on the verge of being ex-communicated from Dip Set:

…Jim told me, “on the record,â€? that he and the whole rest of the Diplomats crew, or the Dipset 300 as he put it….that they are collectively “putting Cam’ron on punishment.â€? (MissInfo.tv)

Say it ain’t so… Damn, we haven’t felt this unstable about the world since our parents got divorced.

Apparently a company in India is planning on manufacturing a car that runs on compressed air, and is virtually pollution free. The technology was developed by a European company named MDI.

The Dude Get’s a Cut

Sunday, May 20th, 2007

picture-3web.pngpicture-5web.pngDevin The Dude is a classy act. Mr. Dude is possibly the funniest, chillest, most mackin’ of the southern rap elite. Devin is also one of the unsung heroes of the southern movement, and Houston’s specifically. The Dude swung by Frank’s Chop Shop on Friday (pre-show) to get a cut and a cap courtesy of Frank. As cool and smooth, yet unassuming as you would expect, this southern gentleman came with a very slim entourage, that basically just breezed through to chop it up at the shop for a while. Low key, approchable celebrities are always pleasant surprise. Frank was happy and honored to have Devin in the chair while in town. Big up to MattSoReal. Good lookin’ sir! And a large shout to Brittany Somerset for the flix. Devin’s current release “Waiting To Inhale” is lacing fine woofers and tweeters everywhere. This release features Andre 3000, Bun B, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop and more.

Andre The Giant

Today would have been the late-great Andre The Giant’s 61st birthday. Interestingly, other notable people that share the same birthday include, Malcom X, Joey Ramone, and Ho Chi Mihn.

DJ Craze - “Bass Session”

Frank is all about DJ Craze, and Frank is fully supportive of bootay. Thus, we’ve been bumping DJ Craze’s “Bass Session” like nobody’s biz. DJ Craze is one of those superhero hiphop DJs you hear about. He won the DMC numerous times, after turning the reigns over to upcomers such as A-Trak and I.E. Merge, while he trampled through the Drum & Bass scene without even blinking. This man has the scratch skills to drop just about anyone’s jaw, and the mixing skills to keep them dancing. Both of these skills are desplayed here, which is rarely the case in a club mix-cd. Here, Craze gives clubgoers that aren’t D&B heads some content they can wrap their mits around. With a crash course being given in all things Miami Bass, 808, vocoder and cuts, Craze comes forth with a stellar disc for lovers of booty and bump. If you’ve never seen DJ Craze, this is your best bet for an introduction. Cop it while you can, and get a listen to it on RADIOFRANK just to your left, right now. Also, look for the article Craze wrote in the current Frank151 (Miami Issue). Big shouts to Contagious Musiq for the love.

The New Velcro

Friday, May 18th, 2007

This guy invented a new and improved type of velcro! That sounds like a great way to get super rich.
