FRANK151 CODE GREEN!: Jury Duty Scam

We here at Frank are not ones to sound the alarm, but this scam isn't as far fetched as some of the urban legends we've heard. If people aren't pulling this one, they probably will be after reading this post. Sorry!

The phone rings, you pick it up, and the caller identifies himself as an officer of the court. He says you failed to report for jury duty and that a warrant is out for your arrest. You say you never received a notice. To clear it up, the caller says he'll need some information for "verification purposes" - your birth date, social security number, maybe even a credit card number.

Just as we were learning not to give all our info to Nigerian business men, they throw this one at us. Remember, always cuff your personal info. And report for jury duty, people!
