“I’m dying to change. I can brag about a lot of shit I did or accomplished in the game but it was a lot of pain behind that…a lot of regrets and mistakes.” - EZStakGeez

Frank 151 traded emails with Harrisburg, PA’s EZStakGeez to find out what’s up with him, his music and life in Central Pennsylvania. EZStaks discusses among other things, the faith healing that helped him beat cancer and why he thinks Lil’ Wayne is a phony. Check him out at www.myspace.com/ezstakgeezgmc and go to the Frank Radio to hear his certified classic, “Double Dutch produced by Aganee. Enjoy.

EZStakGeez: “Ain’t nothing going on in Harrisburg right now. What do we have to attract attention? We have nothing professional of no sort and we are the state capital. I’m the hottest out my city but I’m not gonna let this city’s plague shit on my talent or artistry. So I’m taking my music else where. But if you wanna go to jail then this is the place to be.

Frank151: How has jail changed your life?

EZStakGeez: “Man, jail fucked my life up. I been in and out since 15 years old. I got a case right now and they tryna punish me more for the shit I did when I was 15. All my fucking friends in jail. So I’m out in the street dolo for real. I been in the pen, been out the county, and I’m not tryna graduate to the feds. I want to be a good guy because when life is actually hard for real, that ain’t nothing to be proud about. Just real niggaz incorporate they emotions in their songs. But fuck jail. I rather be dead any day then rot in there. Jail is for losers and I’m tired of being a loser because I ain’t winning.”

Frank151: What messages do you want to send your audience?

EZStakGeez: “The message that I’m sending to my audience is that I’m dying to change. I can brag about a lot of shit I did or accomplished in the game but it was a lot of pain behind that…a lot of regrets and mistakes. A past that still haunts me today because I’m out on bail right now for a pistol. I been in the game for ten years, so I got ten years of stories to tell and my music is made in book form. Kids just need to stop believing in all these rappers because the rapper they so stuck on is telling them to do this and that and the listener has actually been through more shit and put in more work.

Frank151: What were the circumstances surrounding the recording of your song “Cancer?

EZStakGeez: “My circumstances on recording “Cancer is the doctor’s seen signs of it coming back. So, I went through all these tests and X-rays to make sure that wasn’t the case. And I didn’t want to go through that shit again. I already couldn’t eat regular food as it was. Nothing could have salt. I had to eat egg whites and bull shit like that. I went to church and had the Pastor put his hands on my chest and he prayed. When I went to the doctors the following week, the test results came back negative, so I was happy I didn’t have to undergo radiation treatment.

Frank151: What do you not like about Lil Wayne?

EZStakGeez: “My man put me on to him last year. I started listening to him and I thought he was hot and he still is. Me and him the same age. I’m a couple days older. Certain shit he rapped about I lived and he wasn’t repping it right. He turned me off. I’m a d-boy nigga hands down. He started piggy backing all the real niggaz in the game and ran with it. He said off of one key he see $70,000, not saying it ain’t possible, but that situation would definitely be a break down and he too busy to sell a whole brick in 50 pieces. Or he put the brick in the pot and turned it to another whole one. Or he out there selling O’s for $1800 and the drought been over. When I was 15, I was locked up. He was a part of the Hot Boyz and niggaz was writing his rhymes. He been signed since like 11. He said it himself that he was a Macauly Culkin. So you believe he had a rep for being a dope boy before he joined Cash Money? He might consider himself the greatest rapper alive, but niggaz helped him accomplish that title by writing his shit throughout his career. I’m still one of them niggaz who fuck with Juvy and BG. They can still pull Wayne’s card any time they want. And how can you name any mixtape “The Drought when your dad the bird man? They be talking that big money shit but I never seen Wayne or Baby on the Forbes top 50. The End.
