Lil’ Wayne was released on bail yesterday in AZ, after consenting to a K-9 search on the highway outside Yuma. 

During the search, the cops found 3.7 ounces of herb, an ounce of cocaine and an ounce of ecstasy… and put Lil’ Wayne (and two friends) under arrest.

Mr. Carter is being charged with posession of the coke and X, while the others are apparently carrying the marijuana charges.  Aren’t the entourage supposed to take the bullet for those heavier felonies?  We thought that was the unspoken deal.

This is a great example of “know your rights” ….  Someone should send Lil’ Wayne a copy of Barry Cooper’s DVD.
