As featured on Speed Channel’s Unique Whips, Unique Autosports of Holbrook, NY has customized cars for some of the biggest names in the game. Which game? Just about all of them. Owner Will Castro and team have worked with everyone from baller LeBron James and rapper 50 Cent, all the way to author Tom Wolfe.

Will took a few minutes away from the shop to answer a few questions for Frank151, after the jump…

Frank151: There are a ton of celebrity clients listed on the Unique Autosports website. Is that the typical customer or do you also work with low profile clients?
Will Castro: Our clients consist of: 80% celebrities and 20% local / low profile customers. Both equally valued here at Unique Auto.

F151: Does Unique work on all types of cars or only certain categories (domestic, import, euro, etc)?
WC: At Unique Auto, we work on all types of cars, ranging from a Toyota to a Rolls Royce.

F151: Does Unique Autosports just do cosmetic / accessory upgrades, or do you do performance upgrades too?
WC: We do cosmetic / accessory upgrades as well as high performance brakes, intake super chargers & suspensions.

F151: If you could build out a car for anyone, dead or alive who would it be?
WC: I would have to say, that I want to build a car for Tiger Woods.

F151: Do you have a favorite car that you’ve worked on, or is that like picking a favorite child?
WC: I don’t just have one favorite. Anything that we put our hands on is special.

F151: What would you tell someone who’s interested in spending some serious money at Unique Autosports?
WC:
I’d tell them that they will get a Unique experience!

F151: We’ve heard that you are familiar with the Frank151 book, have you been a collector or reader over the years?
WC:
I’ve been a reader of Frank 151; I was introduced by a friend.

F151: Anything else we should know about Unique Auto Sports?
WC: We are planning on expanding to South Florida and the Unique Auto brand is getting larger. So keep an eye out for the Unique South.
