Even The Dalai Llama Is On Twitter
By now, most people familiar with the big social networking sites are familiar with Twitter. Twitter is a free service, and acts as a bulletin board, where you choose the people's 140 character "tweets" (or messages) you want to see. People can of course, also choose to see your "tweets" as well. It almost acts as a little news feed for people you want to hear about/people that want to know what you are doing, watching, listening to or feeling.
