88 Keys "Death of Adam" CD Giveaway
New York native, and longtime Producer 88 Keys has recently released his first album The Death of Adam on Decon Records. The album is an extremely varied effort, with tracks featuring Kanye West, Redman, Bilal, Kid Cudi, Phonte and more. A concept album, the story contained within it takes you through the tragic life of Adam. Throughout the album, Adam tackles several situations, and is forced to make difficult decisions at each step. These decisions ultimately lead to Adam's demise (as the title would suggest). This album also marks 88 Keys' formal debut as an MC. This disc is (among other things) not at all what we expected. The mixtape Adam's Case Files that preceded the album was quite different, and not indicative of what we find here. There's a strong 80's vibe, and several sing-songy choruses as well as a strong rock element. Several styles are included, and there seems to be something for everyone on this album. Genre-surfers, this one's for you.
