Deastro Tours With Max Tundra, Releases Third Single

After a three-show stint at New York's CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival (which we'd really love to stop getting e-mails for), Deastro (aka Detroit's resident hipster Randy Chabot) will be hitting the road for a month-long trek with co-headliner Max Tundra (feel free to get your ears filled here). Deastro will be performing these shows without the backing band featured on his Ghostly International debut, Moondagger. In fact, he'll be performing solo as his entire band recently quit. Can't say we didn't see this coming...

In other Deastro-related news, his third single off of Moondagger, "Tone Adventure #3" comes packaged with a delightful b-side, "Greens, Grays, and Nordics" remixed by one of our all-time favorites, Toronto-based I Am Robot & Proud. This MIDI-induced morphine day dream along with Deastro's fall tour dates (including his upcoming show at Detroit's own Magic Stick) are featured after the break.
