Futura SlamXHype Interview

New York artist Futura 2000 designed the cover of Frank Book 14, and really sparked the whole idea of having Frank turn into a book that was guest curated. Futura represents so many incredible things, and so many different eras in our culture's history, from his days as a young graf writer that took an epic journey with the Rock Steady Crew and Afrika Bambaataa to the other side of the world with the legendary Planet Rock Tour, to his rising as a world renown gallery artist, to his pioneering clothing line GFS (Gerb/Futura/Stash), to his legendary label and boutique Recon. Now, thanks to SlamXHype, we get a look into another side of a poly-faceted man: the cycling side, in this video interview with the enigmatic New York icon.
