USA Today Features Snowboard Kingpin Jake Burton
USA Today got a chance to meet up with snowboard industry giant Jake Burton and discuss what has been going on lately with the company. Jake spoke a bit about the upcoming winter Olympics being held in Vancouver for which Burton actually designed the U.S. snowboard team's uniform. To Jake's amusement, this caused a bit of controversy for its nontraditional fitting. The weak economy has proved a blow to this expensive sport where his privately held snowboard company holds 40% of the world's market.
