Spring Gathering Recap
A few of the LA Looters made it out to San Bernadino, CA this past Saturday to catch this year's installment of Guerilla Union's Spring Gathering (used to be called Spring Harvest, but that didn't really make sense as harvests are only in the Fall). It was definetly a hodge podge of an event, featuring a full spectrum of musical genres from Fishbone to Kotton Mouth Kings to Rebelution (think a softer, more jam band version of Colie Budz) to Method Man & Redman. All in all, it was a solid event & the crowd was certainly having a great time, able to get their fix of jams while having no problem lighting up (security did not kick you out of this venue for blazing).
Be on the lookout for Rock The Bells tour coming this summer!

Before the sunset, we were able to catch a DJ set from B-Real in the Hookah Lounge, which set off a good tone for the rest of the evening.

Fishbone, albeit a pretty old group (pioneers in the punk/ska scene), still tore it up with a ton of energy on stage.

Meth & Red killed their headlining set, once again, and ended the day nicely. Unfortunately we didnt get to sample that huge joint in Redman's hand.

Caught up with Shotta (From VH1's G's to Gents) backstage, who is apparently doing well since the show & swears that it is not scripted, just set up for incidents with a house stocked full of booze & degenerates.
