RIP Gary Shider (P-Funk)

If you've ever been to a P-Funk show, there's no way you missed him. If you've ever listened to a Funkadelic or Parliament album, you've heard his lyrics and guitar playing. He was a staple member of the P-Funk mob, and his voice is instantly recognizable on hundreds of P-Funk tracks. He's also WELL known for being "The Diaper Man" that performed in a diaper at every show, and as that charachter he was a huge part of what made a P-Funk show a P-Funk show. He also played a pivotal role in P-Funk shows as the musical director for many years. Everything about this man screamed funk, and P-Funk will not be P-Funk without him. This Wednesday, Gary Shider died. REST IN PEACE!
