YELAWOLF LIVE IN CHICAGO!! W/ HOLLYWOOD HOLT, BBU AND MORE!! (REVIEW + VIDEO)

YelaWolf

The good people at Knuckle Rumbler and Yea Man! came together to bring you a high energy night of new school music. As I walked in, I was greeted by the eclectic sound of Rockwell Knuckles. He had a good smooth vibe to walk in to, grab a drink and get prepared for the night ahead.

Next up was one of my home team favorites in BBU. They set the pace for the rest of the night. Blazing the stage with tracks such as 'C.H.I.C.A.G.O.', 'BB Who!' and their biggest hit 'Chi Don't Dance'. What caught my attention the most was the raw style and overall realness of 'I Do This For My Culture'.

Hollywood Holt held down the slot before Yelawolf. He kept the energy up with tracks like 'Bullshit' and 'Bang That'. He has one of the most entertaining shows I've seen thus far. Keeping the crowd attentive in between songs with rants and jokes, he capped it off with a performance of 'Freak Ass Playa' which featured raps from Million $ Mano!

As the night went on, Yelawolf busted in the front doors and went straight to the stage with a bottle of Jack Daniel's in hand. He commanded the crowd from the beginning with 'Good To Go' and continued to hold their attention for the rest of the night. He already had everybody reciting his lyrics by the time he made it to 'Trunk Muzik' (video). A couple of lucky ladies got to hit the stage with Yela for his performances of 'Speak Her Sex' and 'My Box Chevy'. Whipping his hair like a true rock star, he had the crowd bouncing to the ceiling by the time he made it to 'Pop The Trunk'.

Saturday July 17th when Yelawolf headlined Darkroom as presented by Yea Man! and Knuckle Rumbler was definitely a night to remember!
