Julian Assange Released From Prison
Julian Assange, the man behind WikiLeaks, was released yesterday from Wandsworth Prison in London. Though his release did not come easy. Assange's bail was appealed by Swedish prosecutors and he was sent to solitary until the verdict of that appeal. After his release, Mr. Assange stated that he is innocent on both sexual abuse and treason charges.
It will be interesting to see how Assange handles his WikiLeaks site and the scandal surrounding the site now that he is free. Below is a interview of Julian Assange at the TED convention.
