Nike Football 2010 Media Summit (Photo Recap)
Frank151 was invited to participate in the 2010 Nike Football Media Summit held earlier this week at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX.
The main focus of the two-day event was to showcase the new Air Zoom Alpha Talon cleat and the 2011 Pro Combat "system of dress." The cleats and uniforms will debut on college teams in early 2011, but as some of you may know, Nike will replace Reebok as the official NFL uniform supplier starting in 2012 (assuming the End of Days is not yet upon us).

NFL players Felix Jones, Dwayne Bowe, Ndamukong Suh, Clay Matthews, and Steven Jackson were on hand to show off the new apparel and take questions.

One of the highlights of the summit was an hour-long tour of Cowboys stadium. Read the wiki entry for the nitty gritty specifics of the structure, but just know they have the world's largest TV. Six-hundred tons, 10 stories tall, and it's waterproof for when they decide to peel back the stadium roof.
Alas, a team cannot survive on record-size TVs alone. Let's hope Nike's new technology helps the Cowboys win in 2012...for Jerry's sake.
