NOV! Dumar Brown is a writer like no other. Self-publishing 2 out of 3 of his stories, those who are lucky enough to stumble upon these gems are in for a treat. His writing style, unrelinquised, raw&dirty breaks all boundaries of conventional writing and leaves you with a true memoir of his life. The impact left upon reading his first story, Nov York, has been monumental to my life as a kid searching for meaning, graff, and facing authority. I can only hope to spread his teachings to as many as possible // size Large

Many writers have had a major impact on me and my writing. Writers such as Edgar Allen Poe to Hughes Mearns, but i believe the one that has made a everlasting impression is Walt Whitman. They say "a picture is worth thousand words." I feel that his poems can paint a million pictures.

My name is Josh and I go to school full time and work part time. My major is English and I want to be a writer.

The writer that has made an impact on my life would be Dave Eggers. His platform spans all ages, but his message is clear - he emphasizes the youth in action. His first real best seller and memoir is amazing and he has done so many other humanitarian works since then, but sticks to his guns. He is an idol. A true veteran of keeping his word and not selling out. Good guy.

Paul from the book of Romans-helps me understand that I am not alone in my thoughts and he drops some knowledge in the process that is priceless.

René Dubos. He helps explain human behavior in an objective analysis based on our innate desire to live without suffering for as long as possible. This is touched upon by countless rap artists and groups like the Wu through their music, spreading the story of leaving the ghetto through lyrically performing armed robbery. J.D. Salinger is also pretty rad.

As far as books I love Sidney Pottier. His book "THE MEASURE OF A MAN" is some good stuff. He says you can measure a man by what he instills in his kids and how he treats them. Awesomely true.
size XL if I win. Thanks

A Writer that has made an impact on my life has to be MF Doom hands down. Too me the guy's a fucking genius, he's one of the most lyrical underground rappers, and he's been doing his thing for a little more than twenty years. Doom is where i got my deep tight flow from. I think Doom and I have this connection where I'm listening to this nigga's shit and I'm like "OH SHIT!"

Medium is my Muthafuckin size
