Design Notes: Belgian Label SaintPaul Spring/Summer 2011

Belgian shirt designer JungHo Goertay offers up a little style and mischief with his Spring/Summer 2011 collection for SaintPaul.

The patterned looks and graphic print designs found in the both the T-Shirt and Classic Shirt collections, are wearable with a poetic twist;  an inscription inspired by the seasons influences, penned by the designer himself is found in each shirt.  A Where's Waldo of poetry one could say.

Many of the shirts are of a handmade quality, carefully resting between artful and kitschy.  The delicacy in JungHo Geortay's work is what makes his craftsmanship so unique.  The designer employs a subtle amount of embroidery, mixes his patterns and prints, all the while keeping with the structure of a classic button down.
