What's even more amazing is the impact Dilla has had on his fans.

A trio of NYU students dubbing themselves Stray Phases - Storm Siegel on drums, Dave Mainella on piano, and Evan Crane on bass - paid homage to the late beatmaker by playing a rendition of Donuts, in it's entirety, to a small crowd of locals.
