We celebrate many holidays every year but there is none like the annual celebration held in honor of the infamous Death Row Records producer Dr. Dre, his birthday aka Dre Day. For the past nine years Burlesque of North America has put together an unforgettable event with a variety of things going on including prizes, “The $20 Sack Pyramid” trivia, the Chronic Photo both and more.
The word has spread and official Dre Day parties are poppin’ off in New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Portland, Tampa, and beyond. Minneapolis’ event will host Heiruspecs performing a live set of Dre, Snoop, Eazy, and NWA classics. DJ Grocery from St. Louis will be performing a live Weat Coast rap video mix while Plain Ole Bill and Mike 2600 keep the classic Dre bangers coming at’cha!
