SceneTap App: Facial Recognition for the Shallow Bar-Goer
I don't know about you, but I don't go where the ugos go. I keep my personal brands tight and my friends in accordance with above normal standards of attraction. The new SceneTap app may help others determine how many people are at the bar, but for me, it will help determine whether I will be associating with the salt of the earth or socializing with the cuties and the beautys I deserve.
The app uses facial recognition with participating bars offering up their cameras as the device which software will reportedly scan a person's face, eyes, nose and general facial structure in order to determine sex and age -- and has a success rate of 85 percent in determining gender and 80 percent in determining age (plus or minus three years), according to FastCompany.com
Thank you SceneTap, for helping close the ugliest bars in Chicago. SceneTap is set to launch July 22!
In all realness, the App describes:
- Connect with other bar-goers
- Chat with the bar directly!
- Ask questions
- Post reviews
- Interact your way
It will also be offering specials and discounts through Groupon like sites, so get ready to slay as your social life becomes a little more interesting.
