Tony Hawk Vert Jam to Open Quiksilver Pro New York 9/2

Recently Announced: The Tony Hawk Vert Jam is in place to kick off the Quiksilver Pro New York!!!

On Friday, September 2nd, Tony Hawk, contributor to Chapter 40: Gumball 3000, and Vitamin Water present a massive half-pipe demo for free at Hudson River Park’s Pier 54! The following day, Saturday the 3rd, Tony and the Birdhouse Crew will skate the street park at The Quiksilver Pro New York in Long Beach, the final stop on he and his son, Riley Hawk’s, Birdhouse’s MIA to NYC Tour! The MIA to NYC Tour features skateboarding legends Tony Hawk, Kevin Staab, and the Chapter 45: Philippines contributor Willy Santos alongside the Birdhouse AMs.

“NYC is always a blast and skating has deep roots there,” says Tony Hawk. “It’s an honor to be invited to do a demo of this caliber in the Big Apple!”
