Encyclopedia Britannica's Animated Guide To Drugs (Video)

Of all the bright ideas that are going to sound absurd to your grandchildren, a home set of Encyclopedia Britannicas has got to be right up there. Not only were they enormous and needed dusting all the time, but by Internet standards they would've been current for oh about 20 minutes (meanwhile they usually came with something like a two year payment plan). Something that will be far more long-lasting--if only for novelty reasons--are these weirdly cool animations from Encyclopedia Britannica, giving you the facts about opiates, as viewed in the '50s.

Well, it delivers the message, doesn't it? Although I guess such cartoons were not very effective since the number of adults abusing drugs is pretty high these days. We all know that a more effective way to spread drug awareness is to let the addicts speak about their experiences, and there are many willing to share their stories in the drug rehab centers Texas where my brother overcome his addiction.
