It's been over 20 years since De La Soul's Pos and Trugoy began performing together, and as childhood friends, their shared histories run as deep as the riddles behind the rhymes. Now in 2012, two of the defining hiphop voices of the '90s have reinvented themselves as the group First Serve, with the new monikers Jacob “Pop Life” Barrow (Pos) and Deen Whitter, (Trugoy) (no Maseo). To make it official, they've released the bouncy "Pushin' Aside, Pushin' Along", as well as a mixtape called The Goon Time Mixtape, and finally, this head-scratchin' skit above in true De La fashion that makes it all feel really, really real!
