Endless Canvas Handstyles Art Show
Usually when your average person in the street talks about graffiti, they'll say something along the lines of, "I like the big, pretty things with all the colors. I don't like all that scribbly rubbish." If they only knew how much harder it is to do "that scribbly rubbish" with style, maybe they'd start to see it as art.
Or not. Anyway, Bay Area graff site Endless Canvas recently finished a handstyles competition with over 150 entries, and to commemorate they're throwing an art show dedicated to "the ancient art of writing your name on shit."
Taking place this Friday at Ear Peace Records, the show will feature handstyles by OPTIMIST, PEMEX, CEAVER 640 THR, Roar CBS, Ras Terms, POBRECITO, GATS, LOGO, WKT Crew, DEAD EYES, MECK, BROKE ONE, ANEMAL AOD, CUSS, SAFETY FIRST, NINA STM, MUSIK, TUPAC, BELLA CIAO, ATTICA, RASKAL, ELITE, SABOT and more.
Also out will be the Endless Canvas t-shirt with contest winner TBIS.
