Junior’s work is an exploration of purity and perversity-the craving for transcendence. His anonymous imagery, words, and installations are push-n-pulls between positive and negative, referencing pop vernacular and the autobiographical. They are embedded with the literal, the metaphoric and the abstract like an unexpected Rorschach Test for the viewer, like a “Where’s Waldo?” form of searching and learning about self. The following portfolio is a special commission for Frank—and for every Tom, Dick, Harry, and Jane.
