Chapter 22: NYC
As architecturally and historically rich as the City is, New York would be nothing without its inhabitants. Each and every resident contributes to the indisputable truth that New York is in many ways the greatest city on the planet. From the natives to the transplants, the young bucks to the OGs, and the tycoons to the tramps, there’s only one Big Apple.
Born and raised in New York City, Frank Book Chapter 22 Guest Curator Nemo Librizzi is an artist, creative consultant, and friend to many. Comprised almost entirely of brief autobiographies from New Yorkers, Chapter 22 features Papa Wu, Julian Schnabel, Jim Jarmusch, Kareem Campbell, Rosie Perez, Ezec, and many more NYC staples. In Nemo’s own words, “When Frank asked me to guest curate an issue about New York, I am proud to say I did not overlook the obvious, and went right to the people and places that help to make this city all the things it is praised as abroad—cultured, diverse, and tough.”
