I was born in Baltimore, Maryland; went to school in Cambridge, Massachusetts; started my career in San Francisco; and moved to New York in 1982. That is why I consider myself a true New Yorker.
I was a New Yorker before I ever lived here. When I arrived I felt at home immediately.
What makes NY so special? The people I have met and the people I might meet tomorrow.
This picture was shot in Madison Square Park, a short walk from my office. It is a nice place to get some air or read a script. The Shake Shack is a great place for a burger; I had a memorable dinner with my son there recently.
