Since 1999, the Gumball 3000 Rally has redefined grand touring for the modern era, creating a new genre of entertainment by combining the world’s most eccentric and influential characters with the most incredible cars ever built, for an eight day, 3000 mile road trip. The attraction of the Gumball transcends social barriers, appealing to the adventurer in all of us, regardless of status or wealth.
The 2010 rally will start in London and finish in New York, incorporating key stopovers and parties in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, before all 120 vehicles are flown on three cargo planes to continue on their adventure through Boston, Quebec, and Toronto, all before crossing the finish line in New York City.
The Spring 2010 chapter of the Frank Book will give readers the low down on a decade action packed with the highs and lows of the world’s most rock ‘n’ roll car rally!
