If you missed The Herbaliser when they burst on to the music scene in the early to mid-nineties, now’s your chance to get acquainted if you’re in New York.

This is their first show of their first tour as the full live-band. The UK’s long running funk and hip-hop outfit,  The Herbliser (fronted by Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba) hit the Knitting Factory stage tomorrow night. Supported by LI’s upcoming sleeping giant, Sputnik Brown, as well as NYC nightlife legend DJ Sabo.

 We must have had our minds on something else last week. This weekend, while flipping through the channels, we came across the final episode of Rap City. We were dismayed, to say the least. Rap city was millions of kids opportunity to connect with Hip-Hop daily for the first time in their lives. Rap city introduced us to so countless rap personalaties so many afternoons after school. Hats of to Joe Clair, Big Lez, Tigger and the original man Mr. Chris Thomas who graced the last episode along with 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Busta Rymes and more.
