This cool subterranean nightclub bar is a cult spot for those in the know. Located in an old parking garage, it's a two-room space with a main basement room with a centre piece bar focussed on dancing; a second smaller room with deep red walls and soft couches devoted to lounging. Either room is good though, with a bar in each serving nicely-priced cocktails mixed by friendly staff who look as if they could mix martinis with their eyes closed. Cartoon murals of MJQ regulars add to the down-home local feel, although you are not going to find Cliffie or Norm spluttering into their warm ale here: it's very much a little known cult hangout. Music runs from house to hip hop and reggae to drum n bass and the wall space is often used for art exhibitions.
