Tucked away in the historic downtown Fairley and Poplar district of Atlanta is the ultra-swank Mark club. Maintaining strong ties to the building's longstanding history, the club's exterior has remained intact for the last hundred years. But just one step inside the 6,000 square foot space, and guests will discover that there's nothing old about this fiercely modern urban hotspot. Co-owners Brandon Lewis and Michael Hileman spared no expense in designing The Mark club, and it shows. The two-level space features Asian terrariums, indoor waterfalls, interactive plasma televisions, digital art, and pieces made of seven different imported exotic woods. The epoxy-poured dance floor is chaperoned by the Turbo Sound system, which blares an eclectic mix of disco, funk and dance. Who says that the beautiful people are only on the coasts?
