Casbah is downtown Durham's newest live music addition . . . opening this past Labor Day weekend (Sept 3rd). Owner Jana Bradley has over 15 years in the record biz and realized nine months of hard work converting an defunct southern florist shop into a modern music hall. 

The Casbah has some formidable competition with the Pinhook down Main Street and the musical institution, the Cats Cradle, only a few miles down the road in Carrboro. Nonetheless, Bradley has the Casbah's schedule almost completely booked through November. With 300 'seats' it should prove to be a great venue to really experience bands Wednesday thru Saturday . . . 16 draft beers won't hurt either.
