BLACK MILK returns to Chicago for a special live performance with full band on his CLAPS and SLAPS 2012 tour at Subterranean March 9th, 2012.  He’s joined by local favorites PSALM ONE, ADD-2 andBLACK ON BLACK RHYME.  WithDJ RAJ MAHAL.

A stalwart of Detroit’s current hip hop scene, BLACK MILK is the prolific dj, producer, rapper andmulti-instrumentalist who continues to hold the respect of hip hop fans old and new.  Ever evolving, he started with a trustyAkai MPC-2000, but now travels and performs with a full bandconsisting of a vocalist / keyboardist, drummer, bassist, djand horn player.  It’s a live show not to be missed.

He has worked with everyone in Detroit from Royce Da 5’9”, Elzhi (formerly of Slum Village), and most recently with up and comerFool’s Gold artist Danny Brown onBlack and Brown released earlier this year.

Openers include Rhymesayersrecording artist PSALM ONE, ADD-2, and BLACK ON BLACK RHYMEwhich consists of emcees ILL LEGIT and JR BLAC.  Detroit Native dj/producer RAJ MAHAL is spinning throughout the night.  The party is hosted by Ms.Chicago and Awdazcate
