Dallas Drills

Aunt Stelle's Sno Cones

2002 W Clarendon Dr, Dallas

There are three things that mean summer has started in Dallas; The HEAT, Girls in booty shorts, and Aunt Stelle's Sno Cones. This Oak Cliff summer staple has been around for 30 plus years. Seriously these snow cones are the BEST and are the perfect cure for those horrible Texas Summer days. Make sure you don't mind waiting in line for 15min because even on the coolest summer day there is still going be a long line. Parking ...

Antoine's Of Dallas

4234 Harry Hines Boulevard, Dallas

I've been going to Antoine's since I was a little kid. It's family owned and they have a dope little middle eastern market that sells spices and deserts that are to die for. You gotta try the baklava, you'll thank me later. Screw that Subway $5.00 footlong garbage, these subs are LEGIT. They only use imported meats and cheeses plus they are half the price, homemade, and anyway everything at Subway taste EXACTLY. THE. SAME. They ...

Burger House

6913 Hillcrest Ave, Dallas

Burger House is a classic burger joint with incredible old-fashioned grub. Burger House pretty much sets the standard for what Dallas burgers should be, and they created the first succesful brand and now chain. Perhaps best know for their season salted fries, Burger House also serves up one of the top three best Dallas burgers. They specialize in the quality thin patty fast food burgers that put In & Out to shame.

Mai's Vietnamese Restaurant

4812 Bryan St # 100, Dallas

Don’t let the bars on the windows dissuade you. Mai’s is a safe haven for those of us who love Vietnamese food. The clay pot-shrimp, chicken, tofu, veggies, and rice are all delicious. Obviously, the pho is a must, as it's the most sought out of all Vietnamese cuisine, but there's much more than that at this Dallas staple.   Picture via Yelp

Ojeda's

4617 Maple Ave, Dallas

Seriously, the best Tex-Mex around. This is the OG joint. Doesn't get much better than this. Everything here is incredible. If you want the classic dish, you can never go wrong with cheese enchildas. If you want to try a few things, pick one of the many that they have available. If you are vegetarian, the beans cooked with bacon fat aren't for you, but if you can get down with the bacon fat, they certainly are delicious.   Pictures via Yelp

Offshore's Nextdoor Cajun Grill and Patio Bar

9660 Audelia Rd, Dallas

Offshore's Nextdoor is a great dining experince. All of the food has a delicious cajun influenced flavor, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The food is seafood goodness. A better plate of calimari would be hard to find in landlocked Dallas, and there's much more on the menu. Make sure to ask for the Habana ranch dipping sauce!

Javier's Gourmet Mexicano

4912 Cole Ave, Dallas

Straying away from the Tex-Mex concept, including tacos and enchiladas, Javier's focuses on a more realistic image of what Mexico City dining is all about. The low-lit dining room at Javier's is replete with mounted game, large paintings, and hanging plants.  If you come to Javier's searching for the traditional Texas Mexican restaurant, you will be disappointed, but if you come looking for a taste of the heart of Mexico you've found the ...
