If a musician invented it, they probably carry it. And if they don’t, they’ll find it. Wax Trax was started over 30 years ago by Goth and New Wave audiophiles who eventually sold the store when they moved on to start Wax Trax Records (the label) to two local music lovers, who have owned it ever since. They carry thousands of titles — from classic jazz to desert rock, specializing in vintage, vinyl and obscure 45s. It's cool little local record stores like this that keep the scene alive.
