Jet

1612 Wazee St., Denver

Jet Bar is located inside of the Jet hotel so you know it's pretty official. This spot definitely attracts the most classiest of people, and cool celebrities. They have a really cool lounge where you could chill, if not you could get out on the dance floor and dance the night away with a complete stranger (just kidding). Jet's waiting staff is just as attractive as the place itself. They play music by DJ and they have wicked drinks.

The Horseshoe Lounge

414 E 20th Ave, Denver

The Horseshoe Lounge doesn't advertise its presence (next to the Dish and across from Benedict Fountain Park, on 20th) with much more than a horseshoe over the front door, but for all that it's easy to miss, you shouldn't. It's a super chill local spot, with cheap drinks and decent late night food. The bricked bar area is narrow but comfortable, with leather-upholstered stools and a bar that appears to be made of all the dice from a truly ...

Hi Dive

7 S Broadway , Denver

The Hi Dive down on Broadway just past the Mayan on the opposite side of the street. This is a great rocker bar with a regular flow of good bands that come in to play. The place is divided into two areas. The bar area and the stage. The place is small enough that when the band starts playing, that is all you hear no matter where you are. They also have a great kickball team.

Beta

1909 Blake St., Denver

There are all kinds of so called “high-profile” clubs around the country. Most of them will have you wait outside the velvet rope for an hour only to have the juiced-up doorman critique your wardrobe, then the snotty guest list girl wearing too much make up will act more important than she really is, and finally the wanna-be actress/model (bitter waitress) will take your all money for overpriced bottle service. Beta in Denver, CO is not one ...

Vinyl

1082 Broadway , Denver

Vinyl is something of an urban legend, having survived a major fire and severe blizzard damage in past years and having lived to tell the tale. The diversity of experience the club offers has much to do with its success; the larger dance floor provides a more mainstream event, and downstairs, the basement used to be a hip hop haven and still has good live shows every now and then. The rooftop lounge with the fire pits is money, even on chilly ...

Benders

314 E 13th Ave, Denver

This little sweaty venue has played host to some of Denver's most beloved acts, as well as the latest tours. With bands like Slim Cessna's Auto Club and the Railbenders and the blistering Reno Divorce, this is one venue that remembers what rock is all about. Local rock scenesters file in for the music and the daily bar specials, then stay for the food. Grilled grub includes burgers and buffalo chicken wraps.
