Dean's Credit Clothing

Dean's Credit Clothing is a bar & clothing store located in the historic market square district of downtown Houston at 316 Main. The original Dean's Credit Clothing was a department store opened in 1938 and then closed down in the fifties. It remained unoccupied until the 90's. Much of the buildings history was preserved when converting the 30's department store into a bar, including the name. Deans houses Houston's first electric elevator and the original wood flooring from the 1890's. At Dean's, you can listen to live music, buy local art, watch Houston films, sift through old clothes, drink frozen cosmos, and witness the ever changing downtown scene
