"Stick 'Em Up" The Movie (Video)

Stick 'Em Up! teaser from PR!MO on Vimeo.

Stick ‘Em Up! is an alluring and captivating film that delves into the little known world of wheat pasting, an inner city art form that’s as provocative as it is misunderstood. Documentary filmmaker Alex ‘PR!MO’ Luster delves into the minds and motivations behind several guerilla street artists capturing the lifespan of their art... conception, creation, placement and ultimately the removal by the city abatement enforcement. With commentary by legendary street artists and from top local law enforcement officials, “Stick ’Em Up!” is a gritty, street smart documentary that reveals the secret truth behind some of the prolific images you see everyday.

"Rebel Scum" The Movie (Video)

God and Man square off in the American Deep South in the controversial new rock documentary, "Rebel Scum". Chronicling two years in the life of “psycho white trash punk band”, The Dirty Works, this startling film expands the boundaries of traditional rock documentaries in a manner that is not always comfortable, but is always riveting. The multi-textured movie explores several themes, including mental illness, addiction, relationships, family dysfunction, and the struggle for artistic expression in the heart of America’s “Bible Belt.” For more Info check out the Facebook Page

Isabella Bardou The Blog - And It's Cult Following

Isabella Bardou
IsabellaBardou.com was originally created as a small blog. Shortly after, this blog turned into a full blown website based blog that attracted a cult following of thousands of college students from all over the country - primarily students from Big Ten Midwestern schools. The girl who writes this blog is very attractive, and to put it quite simply - loves sex. Some may call her sluttly and others may call her a self-righteous, feminist with strong ideals on being sexually liberated as a woman. Kind of like that whole Haight Ashbury Hippie scene in the 1960's, which empowered women with the sexual freedoms which were so shunned upon in previous decades, but have continued to become accepted into present day society, and into our current social norms.

Nonetheless, a very sweet, intelligent girl, who is quite articulate in her writing of these crazy sexual exploits of hers. Don’t be fooled when you first see the site, thinking shes some kind of smut peddler...her message is a little deeper than that more or less and above all, some of the most unbelievable stories I've ever heard are written on her site. Check out the blog post entitled "Chemistry" – Fellas, you may learn a thing or two from this story...

You can check out her website here

Houston, We Have Liftoff...

It's official like a referee with a whistle—The Launch is here and the brand new Frank151.com is up and running. To celebrate this historic event, Frank has teamed up with the Village Voice Media's new social search site LikeMe.Net to giveaway 151 prizes, including 15 grand prizes in select cities. We kicked things off in Houston, Texas last weekend and awarded the first winner an all expenses paid girls' night out with couturier/singer Shina Rae as she produced her weekly fashion show at Deans Credit Clothing and performed with Designer Drugs in The Backroom at The Mink.

Shina Rae has been Frank Fam and a major player in the FDL's Houston Grills for a while now, so it was only fitting to have her host the first grand prize of The Launch. Shina Rae's EP B.W.A. is available on iTunes and DJs have been dropping remixes of her single "Touch" on dance floors around the world. Opening up for artists like Katy Perry, The Ting Tings, Flosstradamus, The Rapture, and RJD2 (to name a few), it's just a matter of time before she blows. On top of making music she also designs her own clothing lines—Bad Is The New Good, and Chopped and Sewn—clearly a girl on the grind. And it was new LikeMe user TajaMzBlaqueBarbie who won a night to party with Shina and Frank151 just by creating a profile on LikeMe.Net and recommending some of her favorite things.

Statik Selektah - So Close, So Far (Video) Behind The Scenes

Shout to Rik Cordero, and of course Bun B ALWAYS, as well as Statik Selektah, who's rocking our Chop Shop "Time Is Money" cap in this So Close So Far video shoot behind the scenes video. Rik Rodero is really building up his clout even more with this. We're looking forward to the video. We're really feeling what Bun B is saying here, as well. Words of wisdom. The New York-Houston connection is strong, and we're proud to be a part of it.

If you haven't checked out the track yet, it's up over at Nahright

Driving under the influence of alcohol (or any other substances for that matter) is dangerous, selfish, and just plain and simple, the wrong thing to do... However, if you decide to risk your life and the lives of others, then you might as well have this guy's number in your address book, in the event that you do get pulled over by the one times.

The Very Best - The Warm Heart Of Africa

TheVeryBest

The Very Best is a collaboration between European electronic production duo Radioclit and Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya. It may seem an unlikely pairing, but the outcome is captivating. Fusing electronic, rock and indie-pop (an oxymoron, we know), and African music, this release will challenge the listener to see how different styles can be mixed together, rather than how they should be. The title track Warm Heart of Africa, which features Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, stands out as an unlikely match-up of styles that showcases Ezra's throwback 80's vocals over a back beat that could only exist beyond the year 2000. Listen to that track below. This release even manages to use auto-tune in a fully respectable way, which can be a challenge these days.

The music created by The Very Best takes us right back to the 80's, when Paul Simon, David Byrne and The Talking Heads and Joe Jackson (along with tons of 80's Ska greats) tapped the rich history of African music and words to create something new, that made you think about culture outside of The States, while working your groove muscle fully.

Under The Radar Like A Dude At A "Sex In the City" Premiere

Wow, just when you think junk food has run out of ways to kill you, they come along with "secret menus" where you can switch it up/impress your posse by ordering from a whole list of stuff that's off the menu. Yeah, you probably have original Space Jams, too.

It just goes to show there is no limit to the number of combinations you can create to clog your arteries. My personal favourites are the veggie Whopper (yessss) and the hypocrite burger (vegie burger... with a layer of bacon. Just for the "lulz," of course).

Find out where YOU can order a suicide burger as pictured here at Coupon Sherpa. Or if you just like looking at food porn as I have been known to do, work up an appetite before you go at This Is Why You're Fat.
