The neon sign reads corner, a nod to the deli that preceded it, but that’s just a colorful ruse. If La Esquina is as much stage set as restaurant, that’s because it’s owned by Serge Becker, the designer and nightlife entrepreneur behind such hipster loci as Bowery Bar, MK, and Area. The counter-service taqueria on Kenmare dispenses tacos and tortas (made, unfortunately, on baguettes instead of proper Mexican teleras), and a more extensive ...

Definitely the Italian gem of the UES. It's no Rao's, but definitely an amazing traditional, old school Italian joint. The waiters know whats up, huge selection of fresh seafood, great steaks and of course, all of those traditional Italian dishes and antipasto. Definitely a spot thats gonna thin out your pockets, but it's money well spent... if you have it.
Mad respect to Campagnola.

Flight Club is an incredible new shop in New York City; with an insane selection of Air Max to Jordan to Z-Docs. Flight Club is reminiscent of such a shop except every pair is a hot colorway of it's respective style. The shop is run by the highest class of sneaker connoisseurs. The design is of a tasteful array of classic Nike posters behind a metal fence of classic sneakers. The selection is of the finest collections from Nike, Jordan ...
Blackflag is one of the prides of jersey. With a great selection and a heavy emphasis on keeping it local, its no wonder the store has such a dedicated following.
This eighties-loving Lower East Side shop offers dead-stock sports apparel, collectible vinyl toys, and new streetwear from local brands like Milkcrate, Mishka, and Rockers NYC. Illustrated skateboards clash with the swirly violet-paisley wallpaper, and a mixture of hip-hop and hits from eighties icons like David Bowie play overhead. Angled, built-in shelves display an array of dead-stock knit caps sporting logos for the Lakers, Knicks, Giants, ...
