What this Alphabet City bar lacks in originality, it makes up for in comfort and simplicity. Every touch takes the tried-and-true route, from the dim lights and dark wood to the taps spouting Guinness and Blue Moon. The neighborhood's yuppies are compelled to put their pretensions aside— the only things this laid-back bar could get snooty about are its heralded hamburger (one "Royale with Cheese") and a back patio with breathing room.
