Streets Is Watching: BAPE

FRANK's newest regular contributor is Phil V, a Brooklynite armed with a series of polaroids he shoots throughout NYC. Phil's subjects range from rappers to big-name artists, to the streets of New York themselves. His organic interactions, which he’s titled Streets is Watching, will give you a peek into the behind-the-scenes lives of the many interesting people who reside in the Big Apple.

Recently the IMPOSSIBLE Project collaborated with BAPE for another special edition pack of film for the iconic SX-70 Polaroid camera. The legendary brand whose creator, NIGO, is a known memorabilia collector and connoisseur has given Polaroid users the chance to experience the BATHING APE brand in its own unique way. A BAPE head and the classic BAPE camouflage printed compose the two different packs and are printed on each shot as you use the special edition film. Kanye West, Pharrell, Pepsi, Casio and now IMPOSSIBLE are one of the many yet unique collaborators that BAPE has worked with since its start in 1993. With the film, I reached out to a few BAPE enthusiasts to organically merge the BATHING APE brand with the Polaroid Community.

Shoutout to producer Don Dean, artist Jedi P, photographer Christina Paik, A$AP Lou, and J.Scott.
